筱原一男將民家土間內部的立柱，剝離其象征男權的主導地位，抽離成“白之家”的纖細裸柱，與其說它表現(xiàn)了某種象征性，不如說是抽離了象征的裸結構。展廳設計作為茶臺的主要力量支撐，經過精心加工的洞石以自然面的姿態(tài)承擔不同界面的銜接和聯(lián)系，一根亮面的小圓柱使天花、茶臺與地面產生連接，表示空間能量的內在流動。
